Guangzhou Keshenglong Completes Asahi Nantai Acquisition, Bolstering Its Position in the Global Packaging Market

Guangzhou, China – In 2024, Guangzhou Keshenglong Carton Packing Machine Co., Ltd. officially announced the completion of its acquisition of Asahi Nantai Precision Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., which representatives from Keshenglong described as a “strategic step” toward strengthening the corporation’s presence in the global packaging solutions market.

Carried out against the backdrop of growing demand for intelligent corrugated processing and printing systems, the deal significantly broadens Keshenglong’s portfolio of technological developments. The combined company will gain access to Asahi Nantai’s production capacity and innovative expertise, integrating them into the existing KL Group structure.

“This strategic alliance will attract attention not only in Asia but also in the global market. We intend to set new standards of quality and efficiency in the packaging equipment industry,” noted the press service of Guangzhou Keshenglong Carton Packing Machine Co., Ltd.

Expanding Technological Horizons

With more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and servicing packaging equipment, Keshenglong has already established itself as an industry leader. One of the key milestones in the company’s growth was the 2017 acquisition of the Japanese manufacturer Shinko Machine Co., Ltd. — a move that laid the foundation for the rapid development of corrugated printing machines. Now, the integration of Asahi Nantai Precision Machinery Technology’s solutions and production lines is expected to enhance technological synergy and reinforce Keshenglong’s credibility among its key partners.

According to the management of Asahi Nantai, the alliance with Keshenglong will drive progress in intelligent manufacturing and improve innovative packaging solutions not only in Asia but also worldwide. Its flagship equipment — including Shinko FFG solutions and Asahi flatbed presses — will retain leading positions in their respective segments.

The Future of the Industry and Growth Prospects

Joint development of Chinese and Japanese technologies, industry analysts believe, will accelerate the digitization and automation of packaging production. Particular attention is expected to be given to creating integrated solutions that improve both the environmental and operational efficiency of manufacturing processes.
